Talent Management

In a competitive marketplace, Talent Management is a primary driver for organizational success.  Talent Management is a necessity for enhancing organizational and agency performance.  You must have the right people with the right skills in the right place to achieve your business  objectives—today and in the future.  HRCA’s talent management programs help develop your managers, supervisors, leaders and employees so that they ultimately will be more effective in your organization or agency.

The following is a sample of recently offered training seminars.  Every program that HRCA offers can be customized to meet the needs of the individual, organization or agency.

In 98% of situations, teams outperform individuals.  Within the team, each individual’s contribution builds on the next member’s contribution – and in the end, the team outperforms all its individuals’ efforts.  This program helps participants overcome barriers and obstacles to effective teaming in their workplace.  Participants in “Teamwork” learn to use strategies that enhance the synergy between team members to create a strong team environment (1 or 2 day seminar).   Specifically, participants will learn:

  • what a team is
  • how to build a strong team
  • how to overcome team-building barriers
  • how to improve team communications and become an effective team participant

Influencing Without Authority

How do you get things done and influence others when you don’t have authority?  How do you get your boss, your team, your coworkers and even your staff to adopt your ideas and implement your plans?  In this program, participants will learn to use persuasion and influence skills to maximize their chances of getting what they want from an interaction.  Attendees will learn how to build credibility, improve communication skills, and identify which of the six influence tactics to utilize in a relationship and interaction.  (1 day seminar).
